When my good friends Case & Andrea asked me to photograph their wedding I was honoured, and when they told me where it was going to be I was ecstatic. The only people in attendance were their immediate family, and it was perfect. After a short but sweet ceremony overlooking the ocean (viewed by their close friends and family back home via webcam), we set off for a private portrait session along the cliffside boardwalk that leads to the private Tenthouse suites the Rockwater Resort is famous for. Even if you’re not going to get married there, you HAVE to go there to experience it!!
This is the way it should be done. Surrounded by some of the most pristine nature the West Coast has to offer with the cool breezes flowing off the ocean to fill your lungs and rejuvenate your soul. This place is paradise- the most romantic place I can think of to get married in the west. The Sunshine Coast is one of the best kept secrets. Only a 40 minute ferry ride from Horseshoe bay, peace and serenity is only a stones throw away.
If I ever find the time to plan a wedding with my honey- this is where I would dream it to be.
