I met these two late last year and fell in love with them instantly. What should have been a 30 minute meet and greet, turned into a 3 hour get to know each other session in the comfort of their home complete with the most delicious snacks. Even though I was expecting a babe just a month before them, I was determined to be there with them to welcome their son into the world. The connection that they share is one of my favourite things to capture and I couldn’t say no. Just 4 weeks after my own babe came into the world, I trekked out at 2am (with my nursling in tow, and an amazing doula by my side) and headed to capture them welcoming their baby boy earth side. While Keanu didn’t make it super easy on his parents, he definitely helped demonstrate just how powerful his mama is and the incredible bond his parents share. Being present for this families journey was such an honour, and I am happy to call them friends.
