It is always such a pleasure to capture small moments in the lives of families but when they’re some of my best friends, it makes it even more meaningful. I know them so well that it kind of makes it hard to choose what to write about them, so I will just say this… It has been a difficult year for them, but you would never know it now- I am in awe of the strength they have had over the many obstacles life has thrown their way. They came out on top and closer than ever.
We met up at Jericho beach at the perfect time- the sun started beaming down about 5 minutes into our session. A lot of people complain about Vancouver being so terrible in the Winter, but those same people must be forgetting about days like this one. I truly believe you’ve got to have the sour to appreciate the sweet- in all aspects of life.
