This is one of my favourite sessions to date. Owen’s big “brother” Rocco matched the shag carpet perfectly, and snuggled up to his new little human on command. We turned up the heat and this guy almost slept through the whole thing. As I was finishing up, his papa asked me (quite enthusiastically) if we could get a couple shots of him and Owen, skin to skin- I was obviously all for it. It always makes me so happy to see a father that is excited to bond with their baby. Skin to skin not only makes for incredibly beautiful photos it is one of the best ways to connect with your baby, and the benefits to both of you are countless.
Skin to skin time was my honey’s utmost favourite activity when our son was a little peanut, I encourage every new parent to give it a go… you may be surprised to find yourself whipping off your shirt as soon as its your turn! HA
